Anna Hazare Supports Trinamool. Good Move or Bad?

Anna Hazare has long been going bizarre for a long time now. First, his going pro for an imperfect Lokpal bill. Second, his thanking Rahul Gandhi and other UPA ministers for it. Third, not readily available to meet public in Ralegan and now, his supporting Mamata Bannerjee and her party Trinamool Congress. What needs to be articulated is whether it is a good move or a bad one.

We all know that Mamata Bannerjee is a very clean minister with no corruption charges and has a track record of leading a very simple life with no luxuries. She doesn't use a government vehicle, bungalow or any other services. She doesn't even take most part of her salary. But the question still plunges out to the same thing. Apparently, Anna wrote a letter involving 17 points/demands to various political leaders and only Mamata Bannerjee replied to him promising all the changes if she comes to power. Now, Anna is convinced that she can make the best PM as she had taken the time to reply him. This absolutely doesn't make any sense. Isn't this the rhetoric of every other politician based on; to make promises. Despite Mamata being clean and anti-corruption, we all know how pathetic is the development in Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal. Kolkata, the city which once used to beam into advancement is now embodied with stalled growth and very little investment in manufacturing sector. Look at the poverty in West Bengal, the small HDI(Human Development Index) and increasing unemploment. Is this a symbol of Incredible India? I don't think so.

So, the rest again follows with how blind are Anna's followers and how much knowledge they have about politics cuz, your one vote matters a lot! Trust me.

Is there a NaMo wave in the country?

Seriously? Is that even a question! Any person living in India or abroad with even the slightest knowledge on Indian Politics would be in a position to state emphatically that there is indeed a Modi Wave in the country. Though somewhat shielded by the AAP wave recently, no one doubts on the capabilities of Modi.

AAP and Arvind Kejriwal have got into the limelight recently with their electoral win and by forming a minority government in Delhi. It is a good start for a new party as Delhi runs on surplus budget. There is less expenditure than income. A new leader can be risked for a better government formation. I don't want to talk about how well Arvind Kejriwal is doing in Delhi but would definitely state that the State finances are working his way.  DJB has enough balance to provide water to the entire Delhi for the next three months for free. The policies are strong and the man is honest with good intentions.

Coming to NaMo, we certainly would give him enough credit for the developments he has brought about in Gujarat. India's economy is coming to a standstill at a low growth rate and we are willing to get away with it under any circumstances. Stakes are high but people are ready for NaMo to take the top job in the country and right the ship. BJP might be corrupt but Gujarat has shown developments. Modi has been recently given a clean chit over the allegations that he did not do enough to stop the riots in 2002. As put in the words of Maulana Madani in an interview, a section of Muslims have voted for Modi in Gujarat and they are far better off than the muslims in the, so called, "SECULAR" parties-run states. Modi has brought about great developments in Gujarat. The Sabarmati riverfront is an eye catching and easily understandable change. This is how it looks now.

And this is how it used to be.

It is undeniably the best transformation one could witness. Moreover, the electricity is available 24*7 in the cities as well as in some of the villages. This is one of the landmark features backing Modi for GE14. The amount of investments from foreign countries in Gujarat, the tie-ups with European Union and other heftily pocketed groups who ready to invest in India are inspiring.

Although the intentions of Kejriwal might be better than Modi but he cannot be risked for the Prime Minister's job as he has not shown any such growth yet. Its not his fault but he is a new CM and very less experienced than Modi and hasn't shown any ace-move yet. In fact, a leader of AAP, Shazia Ilmi had herself said that the party supporters are divided on the view of their support towards Modi. If there is Junta Darbar(flop and discontinued now) from AAP in Delhi, there is a much better and successful grievance redressal system in Gujarat by Modi named SWAGAT which won United Nations Public Service Award in 2010. There are many fields where Modi leads but it would be wrong if we say Arvind Kejriwal doesn't stand a chance.

Effectively, one can easily say that 2014 will witness the most interesting and debated election in the history of India.
