Anna Hazare Supports Trinamool. Good Move or Bad?

Anna Hazare has long been going bizarre for a long time now. First, his going pro for an imperfect Lokpal bill. Second, his thanking Rahul Gandhi and other UPA ministers for it. Third, not readily available to meet public in Ralegan and now, his supporting Mamata Bannerjee and her party Trinamool Congress. What needs to be articulated is whether it is a good move or a bad one.

We all know that Mamata Bannerjee is a very clean minister with no corruption charges and has a track record of leading a very simple life with no luxuries. She doesn't use a government vehicle, bungalow or any other services. She doesn't even take most part of her salary. But the question still plunges out to the same thing. Apparently, Anna wrote a letter involving 17 points/demands to various political leaders and only Mamata Bannerjee replied to him promising all the changes if she comes to power. Now, Anna is convinced that she can make the best PM as she had taken the time to reply him. This absolutely doesn't make any sense. Isn't this the rhetoric of every other politician based on; to make promises. Despite Mamata being clean and anti-corruption, we all know how pathetic is the development in Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal. Kolkata, the city which once used to beam into advancement is now embodied with stalled growth and very little investment in manufacturing sector. Look at the poverty in West Bengal, the small HDI(Human Development Index) and increasing unemploment. Is this a symbol of Incredible India? I don't think so.

So, the rest again follows with how blind are Anna's followers and how much knowledge they have about politics cuz, your one vote matters a lot! Trust me.
